The purpose of the UNC is linking undergraduates who share an interest in neuroscience to a community that fosters an open mind and cerebral environment. The club will aim to enhance the knowledge of neuroscience opportunities and the community at UC Santa Cruz. We also strive to bring faculty members of both UC Santa Cruz and people working in the medical field together with undergraduate students in an informal fashion to get acquainted and gain advice from experienced professionals.

 

Our outlined goals are to further neuroscience education at UCSC, develop a community of STEM interested undergraduates, foster connections with others in their field of interest, including: researchers, professors, doctors, and those in other related careers.

 

We also want to develop a place to learn about and share research and volunteering opportunities in the neuroscience field,  bridge the gap between faculty and students interested in neuroscience and give advice for pre-med and STEM students, and offer a place to collaborate for STEM classes.
